I would really recommend Donte's 5-day Comedy course it was fantastic! While being a comedian is more of a journey rather than a crash course, Donte's class gives you a good understanding about the world of Comedy, writing material, improving it and making it more relevant to the audience. It personally helped me write stronger punchlines and work on my timing. I enjoyed listening to the guest comedians who came by to share their experiences and take on what it is to be out there in the real world. The class also covers different types of comic styles, personas, do's & dont's about festivals and events which was a big eye opener for me. The highlight for me was working with Donte whose been in this industry for many years and has a vast experience to learn from, he's a livewire and kept us on our toes the entire time, challenging us to push ourselves by practising and refining our content. He also happens to be a down-to-earth and amazing human being. At the end of the course, all of us had the opportunity to perform at graduation night to live audience and had the time of our life's getting up on stage, it surely build our confidence. I would recommend this course in a heart beat!
